All media enquiries should be made via the Communications department by calling (01384) 244404 or (01384) 321064.

Enquiries should include full details of the information required and a time by which a reply is needed.

Patient condition checks

All patient condition checks should be made via the Communications department by calling (01384) 244404 or (01384) 321064.

Checks can only be dealt with if the full name, address and date of birth of the patient is supplied.

Information will only be issued if the patient or their relatives grant consent. No patient information can be disclosed without consent.

Filming requests

The Trust receives frequent requests for documentary and location filming and all requests will be considered and accommodated where possible or appropriate.

All media should request prior permission before coming onto our hospital sites. Requests should be emailed to communications@dgh.nhs.uk. Failure to obtain permission may result in Security asking you to leave.

There is no charge for filming a news or health promotion piece within our hospitals, however we do charge facility fees for other photography or filming.
