Image of sexual health leafletDudley Group Sexual Health provides a free, friendly and confidential integrated sexual health and contraception service. The Department of GU Medicine is dedicated to providing confidential screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections and advice on all aspects of sexual health whilst the contraception services provide contraception methods and advice to the local population.
Within the GU Medicine department at RHH we offer a range of confidential services including:
  • Free testing, advice and treatment for sexually transmitted infection
  • Hepatitis B vaccinations for those who have, or will be at risk
  • HIV testing and specialist treatment
  • PEPSE (post exposure prophylaxis following sexual exposure) to HIV counselling and testing for HIV infection for which results may be available on the same day
  • Contraception including emergency contraception and free condoms
  • Sexual health services for under 16s
  • Specialist clinic for erectile dysfunction (GP referral required)
  • Free pregnancy testing
The Community clinics offer a range of contraception services including:
  • Contraception advice and provision
  • Condoms
  • Emergency contraception
  • Implants
  • Contraceptive Pills
  • Depo Injections
  • IUS or IUD (coils)
  • Pregnancy tests
  • Cervical smears
  • Chlamydia screening programme
  • Referrals to sexual health clinic or other services were appropriate
Our staff are able to provide advice and treatment to people of all ages in a confidential manner. Each clinic runs both a drop in and also booked appointment session.
Our sexual health clinics are for people of any age or gender who are sexually active and who are starting or ending a relationship, exposed to infection, worried about sexually transmitted infections and have no symptoms but want peace of mind.

  • Monday - 9.00am to 5.00pm (doors close 4.30pm)

  • Tuesday - 9.00am to 5.00pm (doors close 4.30pm)

  • Wednesday - 9.00am to 7.00pm (doors close 6.15pm)

  • Thursday - 9.00am to 5.00pm (doors close 4.30pm)

  • Friday - 9.00am to 4.30pm (doors close 4.15pm)

  • Saturday - 10.00am to 1.00pm (doors close at 12.30pm


Our Saturday clinic is a nurse-led drop in clinic for people who do not have symptoms. Specialist nurses are available to carry out a number of common tests for sexually transmitted infections, including Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, and syphilis.


We do not have a doctor on duty on a Saturday or diagnostic facilities. People who need a follow up will be guaranteed an appointment on the following Monday.

  • Central Clinic - Tuesday - 10am to 5.15pm (under 25s 3.30-5.15pm)

  • Brierley Hill Health & Social Care Centre - Wednesday - 10am to 5.15pm (under 25s 3.30-5.15pm)

  • Brierley Hill Health & Social Care Centre - Thursday - 1pm to 4.15pm and 6pm to 8.15pm
  • Brierley Hill Health & Social Care Centre - Friday - 11am to 2.15pm

  • Halesowen Health Centre - Wednesday - 5pm to 8.15pm

  • Stourbridge Health & Social Care Centre - Thursday - 9.30am to 12.15pm

  • Russell Hall Hospital - Saturday - 10am to 12.15pm


Booked and walk in appointments are available for all aspects of contraception and advice. Walk in patients will be seen on a first come first served basis. Under 25s are welcome at all our clinics.
