Information about the service

Image of Radiology staffThe radiology department is located across the three sites and has a modern, well-equipped, integrated imaging service.

The service provides:

  • General X-rays

  • Ultrasound scans

  • CT and MRI scanning

  • Nuclear medicine imaging

  • Fluroscopy

  • Interventional radiology

  • Mammography

We do not provide radiotherapy.

The radiology services offered at each of the three sites are as follows:

Russells Hall Hospital – (01384) 456111 extension 2327 all radiological examinations by appointment only

  • Plain film

  • Fluoroscopy

  • Ultrasound

  • CT

  • MRI

  • Nuclear medicine

Corbett Hospital Outpatient Centre - (01384) 456111 extension 4786

  • Plain film – walk in service, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm

  • Ultrasound – appointment only

  • DEXA bone densitometry – appointment only

Guest Hospital Outpatient Centre - (01384) 456111 extension 5832

  • Plain film – walk in service, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm

  • Ultrasound – appointment only

Who does the service treat?

The service covers inpatient, outpatient, emergency department and GP referrals
