The TRACE RA trial is funded by two national charities- Arthritis Research UK and the British Heart Foundation and works alongside various local and national patient support groups such as National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS).

Both booklets have been produced by the UK CLRN (UK Clinical Research Network) and are designed to provide people with more information on clinical research in general.
